The biggest gap that still remains between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous Australians is the cultural gap which exists due to a lack of education, knowledge and understanding. We call this the "Knowledge Gap".

Australia cannot effectively close the gap and deliver sustainable and lasting change to improve Indigenous lives until all Australians increase their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and develop the skills to become culturally competent at both a personal and professional level.

To date over 500 organisations have engaged CCCA to deliver Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural competence training to their employees, with 12,000+ individuals trained.
